Dark German Chocolate Whoopie Pies

INGREDIENTS
2 cups (500 mL) all-purpose flour

1 1/4 tsp (6 mL) baking powder
1 tsp (5 mL) baking soda
1/2 cup (125 mL) butter (1 stick), softened
1 cup (250 mL) sugar
2 egg yolks
1/2 tbsp (7 mL) Double-Strength Vanilla
1 cup (250 mL) milk
Filling
1 cup (250 mL) sugar
1/4 tsp (1 mL) salt
3/4 cup (175 mL) evaporated milk
2 egg yolks
3/4 tsp (4 mL) Double-Strength Vanilla
3/4 cup (175 mL) butter (1 1/2 sticks), cut into pieces
2 cups (500 mL) toasted sweetened flaked coconut
2 cups (500 mL) toasted pecan halves, finely chopped
