Mom used this on the yearly Easter lamb shaped pound cake (pictured on front cover). After frosting, cover with coconut.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg white
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup boiling water

How To Make quick & easy frosting

  • Step 1
    Mix together sugar, egg white, cream of tarter and salt. Add boiling water.
  • Step 2
    Beat with electric mixer or by hand until stiff peaks are formed. If desired, add flavoring and beat 2 minutes.
