INGREDIENTS
•1-1/2 pounds of very lean ground beef*
•1 tablespoon of butter
•1 medium onion, chopped fine
•1/2 cup of green bell pepper, chopped fine
•1 stalk (rib) of celery, chopped fine
•3 cloves of garlic, minced
•1/4 cup of canola oil
•2 tablespoons of all purpose flour (for the roux)
•1 (15 ounce) can of tomato sauce
•1 can of water
•1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
•1/2 cup of evaporated milk
•1 large egg
•1/2 cup of seasoned bread crumbs
•1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt
•1/4 teaspoon of freshly cracked black pepper
•Pinch of cayenne
•Additional flour, for coating
•1 tablespoon of canola oil, for browning
