INGREDIENTS
1 package regular or quick-acting yeast
¼ cup warm water, about 105 degrees F
1 tsp honey
1 cup buttermilk
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg
¼ cup shortening
3 cups all-purpose flour
Vegetable Oil
Crème Filling (Recipe to follow)
Chocolate Espresso Ganache (Recipe to follow)
Rainbow Sprinkles for Garnish
½ cup granulated sugar
¼ cup water
½ cup vegetable oil
½ cup vegetable shortening
½ cup softened butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
Seeds of one vanilla bean (save the bean to throw in some dark rum to make your own extract)
4 cups powdered sugar (a little more or a little less)
1 cup heavy cream
¼ cup butter
½ cup powdered sugar
16 ounces dark chocolate, cut up
2 tablespoon instant espresso granules
