1/2 cup salted butter, unsalted is just fine too
•
1 {8 oz.} package cream cheese
•
2 teaspoons garlic powder
•
1 cup heavy cream
•
1 cup chicken stock
•
8 ounces freshly grated Parmesan cheese
•
1/2 teaspoon salt
•
1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper, black pepper will work as well
•
3-4 tablespoons pesto, add more to taste
