1/2 cup + 1 T. of unsalted butter
•
2 chicken flavored bouillon cubes
•
1 brick of cream cheese
•
1/4 cup of cold tap water + 2 T. of cornstarch (this is your thickening agent, a cornstarch slurry)
•
a good amount of sea salt
•
2 dashes of white pepper
•
3 finger pinches of light brown sugar
•
2 dashes of ground nutmeg
•
1 cup of shredded mild cheddar and Monterrey jack cheese
•
2 cups of shredded sharp cheddar
•
1 cup of heavy whipping cream
