1/2 cup all purpose flour

3/4 tsp salt

1/2 tsp ground black pepper

1/4 tsp garlic powder

4 tbsp butter

1 cup chicken broth, I use a bullion cube and a cup of water
•
3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
•
1 cup heavy cream
•
1 medium onion sliced in rings or 8 oz. fresh sliced mushrooms (optional)
