INGREDIENTS
Pastry for a single crust 9- to 9 1/2-inch deep-dish pie
FILLING
3 large eggs
2 large egg yolks
1 cup sugar
1 cup heavy cream
2/3 cup whole milk
1 1/4 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon coconut extract (optional by highly recommended)
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups sweetened flaked coconut
Whipped cream for garnish (optional)
