2 frozen bags of spinach- 12 oz bags

4 tbs of butter- or margarine- I used Light - divided
•
1/4 cup of flour
•
1 cup of 2 % milk
•
4 oz cream cheese- You can use reduce fat or low fat
•
1 small onion- chopped
•
3 garlic cloves- minced
•
1/4 cup of water
•
1 cup of Italian blend cheese, or Parmesan
•
1/4 tsp of salt
•
1/4 tsp of pepper
•
1 dash of nutmeg
