Cranberry Scones

INGREDIENTS
1 cup of dried cranberries
1 ½ cups of buttermilk
1 of large egg
3 cups of all-purpose flour
¾ cup of turbinado sugar
6 tablespoons of white sesame seeds
4 teaspoons of baking powder
¼ teaspoon of allspice, ground
¼ teaspoon of cardamom, ground
¼ teaspoon of salt
8 tablespoons of unsalted butter, cold, cubed, plus more for greasing
