6 ounces cranberries (fresh or frozen)
1 orange (juiced and zested into strips)
1/2 cup sugar
BUCKLE:
4 tablespoons unsalted butter (plus one tablespoon for greasing, room temperature)
1 cup sugar
1 large egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup sour cream
1/2 cup pecans (toasted and chopped)
TO SERVE:
vanilla ice cream
powdered sugar (for garnish)
