Cranberry Orange Rolls Recipe

"A different take on sticky cinnamon rolls, made with cranberries and orange juice and frosted with a simple vanilla glaze...."

INGREDIENTS
Dough:
1 cup warm milk (120 to 130 degrees F)
1 teaspoon white sugar
2 1/2 teaspoons rapid-rise yeast
2 eggs, room temperature
1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
Filling:
2 1/2 cups finely chopped cranberries
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons orange juice
1 tablespoon orange zest
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt
Vanilla Glaze:
1 cup confectioners' sugar
3 tablespoons heavy cream, or more as needed
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 pinch salt
