1 1/4 cups almonds, toasted and cooled
1 cup plus 1 tablespoon (7 1/2 ounces) granulated sugar
2 large eggs
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly
1/2 cup whole milk
2 cups fresh cranberries
1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar
