8 bacon strips, chopped
1-1/2 pounds lean ground beef (90% lean)
1 large onion, chopped
1 can (15 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
1 can (10 ounces) chili-seasoned diced tomatoes and green chiles, undrained
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
3 cups shredded pepper jack cheese, divided
Chopped green onions, optional
