For the cupcakes:
1 cup cake flour
1 cup finely ground white cornmeal
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup Mazola corn oil
1 cup sugar
3 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3/4 cup milk
2 tblsp. turbinado sugar
For the frosting:
4 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
1/2 stick (4 tblsp) butter, room temperature
1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
3 drops yellow food color (optional)
