1 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon pepper
salt (to taste)
1 15-ounce can crushed tomatoes
1 15-ounce can coconut milk
1-2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce (to taste)
2 15-ounce cans chickpeas (drained and rinsed)
2 tablespoons cilantro (chopped)
2 cups cooked rice (for serving)
