INGREDIENTS
1 box yellow cake mix (Duncan Hines is best)
• 1 teaspoon coconut flavoring
Sauce:
• 2/3 cup canned evaporated milk
• 1 box powdered sugar ( 1 lb.)
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 teaspoon coconut flavoring
• 2 (6 oz.) packages frozen coconut
• Maraschino cherries and/or pineapple slices (Optional)
Fluffy White Icing:
Part 1
• 1 cup water
• 2 heaping Tablespoons flour
Part 2
• 1/2 cup margarine or butter
• 1/2 cup Crisco
Part 3
• 1 Cup granulated sugar
Part 4
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 teaspoon coconut flavoring
• pinch of salt
