Classic Homemade Pasta Pomodoro

INGREDIENTS
¼ cup olive oil
8 cloves garlic (thinly sliced)
1 oz. prosciutto (thinly sliced)
7 fresh basil leaves (chopped)
1 bay leaf
2 tbsp flat-leaf parsley (chopped)
¼ cup dry white wine
1 28 oz. can whole tomatoes (drained (San Marzano are good))
Kosher salt and black pepper
12 oz spaghetti (or bucatini)
