1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup unsalted butter* (softened to room temperature, but not melty)
1 3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons vegetable oil (or canola oil)
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
4 large eggs* (room temperature)
1/2 cup sour cream* (room temperature)
2/3 cup whole milk* (room temperature)
1 1/4 cup unsalted butter (softened to room temperature (2 and 1/2 sticks))
3-4 cups powdered sugar (sifted)
3/4 cup cocoa powder (sifted)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
3-4 tablespoons whipping cream (or milk)
