36-40 littlneck clams, cleaned and scrubbed
2 lg onions, peeled, halved and thinly sliced
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped
1/2 tsp dried red pepper flakes
3/4 C dry white wine
1/2 C water
2 tbsp minced fresh garlic
1 1/2 chopped canned tomatoes in heavy pruee
1 stick butter, cut up
3 scallions cut into julienne
1 lemon cut into 6 wedge
