Cinnamon Rolls

"There’s a first for everything and this time it was for baking cinnamon rolls! This is definitely a recipe that is a bit more time consuming but that’s mainly due to the waiting time to let the dough rise. Other than that, I’m happy with the way these buns turned out! They were super soft, moist and gooey on the inside — just the way a cinnamon roll should be. As you can probably tell in my photo, my rolls did not come out even. INGREDIENTS
1 tsp sugar + 1/3 cup sugar (KEEP SEPARATE)
1/2 cup warm water
1 tbsp active dry yeast
1/4 cup oat milk or other plant-based milk
2 tbsp vegan butter
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg or egg replacer
2 cups + 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (bread flour will work better if you have it!)
1/3 cup vegan butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
