INGREDIENTS

Put the following into your 4- to 6-quart slow cooker bowl:

10 to 12 large apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
•
1/3 cup water
•
1/3 cup boiled cider
•
1/2 cup sugar
•
1 tablespoon cinnamon
•
Measure out 2 teaspoons vanilla into a small dish
•
and set it aside to add at the end of cooking. I find if I don’t measure
•
out the vanilla early, I forget to add it later.
