1/2 cup granulated sugar (134g, plus 3 tbsp divided)
•
1 pinch kosher salt
•
1 1/2 cups heavy cream (354mL)
•
1 cup heavy whipping cream (236mL)
•
2 tbsp granulated sugar (24g)
•
1 tsp vanilla extract (5mL)
