How to Make Chocolate Buttermilk Frosting
- 1In a medium bowl beat 1/3 C Butter (or margarine) till fluffy. Slowly beat in 2 cups sifted powdered sugar. Slowly beat in 2 squares (2 ounces) unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled, 1/4 cup of buttermilk (or milk),and 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla. Slowly beat in 2 to 2 1/2 cups sifted powdered sugar to make frosting of spreading consistency.
