1 1/2 teaspoons fresh lime juice (from 1 lime)

1 pound tomatoes (cut into 1/4-inch pieces)
1/4 cup red onion (finely chopped)
1/4 cup fresh cilantro (minced)
3 jalapeño peppers (seeded, stemmed, and finely chopped)
2 teaspoons fresh lime juice (from 1 lime)
