2 lbs. steak, cut in strips (sirloin is best)
2 c. beef broth, canned or made with bouillon
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 can Chinese mixed vegetables
1/3 c. soy sauce
1/3 c. water
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. rice
2 tbsp. butter
Salt and pepper
