¼ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup beef broth ((160 ml))
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 sheets puff pastry ((about 17 ounces, 490g))
1 egg ((beaten with 1 tablespoon water to make an egg wash))
