Chili con Carne

Chili con Carne was pinched from <a href="http://www.jspace.com/food/recipe/chili-con-carne/" target="_blank">www.jspace.com.</a>

"Chili con carne translates to chili with meat in spanish. It’s a stew of meat, tomatoes, beans and spicy peppers.Don’t get confused, but this dish is actually an American creation, a staple in Tex-Mex cuisine. There are many versions of chili. Some are made with meat some are vegetarian. My recipe is with ground meat, and it tastes even better the next day. The longer you cook it the better it tastes, since the spices melt into all of the ingredients. We like it really spicy in my family, but if you like yours more mild, replace the habanero with jalapeñopeppers. I also like to use three kinds of beans, it give the stew more depth, plus, it looks pretty! My husband says this is his favorite thing that I make. Normally this would upset me because there are so many things that I make that are so much better, but who am I to make my life more complicated? This chili is easy, and amazingly delicious. Serve in a bowl with tortilla chips and guacamole on the side. Enjoy this chili con carne!..."
