INGREDIENTS
2 1/2 cups hot chicken stock
1 cup heavy cream
2 carrots, peeled and sliced
1 sheet (8 1/2 oz/240 g) frozen puff pastry, thawed
2 tbsp butter
1 large egg, beaten, to glaze
1 onion, finely chopped
2 parsnips, peeled and sliced
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 celery stalks, thinly sliced
1/2 tsp dry mustard
10 ounces frozen fava or lima beans, or peas, thawed
salt and freshly ground black pepper
12 ounces skinless, boneless cooked chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
