Chicken Piccata

"When my husband and son make special requests for dinner, Chicken Piccata is usually the dish of choice. My version started out as a copycat of a local Italian restaurant’s recipe. The place has been around for ages and is well known for its chicken piccata. INGREDIENTS
5 boneless skinless chicken breast halves, about 3 1/2 pounds
1 1/2 cups flour for dredging
1 1/2 cups bread crumbs
1 1/2 cups milk
Salt and pepper for seasoning chicken
Oil for cooking
1 (14.5 oz.) can chicken broth
10 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. fresh squeezed lemon juice
2 1/2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. finely diced shallot, 1 small bulb
2 garlic cloves, finely diced
1/4 tsp. salt
