Chicken Cheesesteak Baked Ziti • a farmgirl's dabbles

INGREDIENTS
8 oz. dry ziti or rigatoni (what I used) pasta
2 T. unsalted butter
1 c. thinly sliced yellow onion
1 c. thinly sliced red bell pepper
1 c. thinly sliced green bell pepper
1 tsp. kosher salt
1 tsp. ground black pepper
1 T. red wine vinegar
2 T. olive oil
1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
1 T. Italian seasoning
1 tsp. kosher salt
1 tsp. ground black pepper
4 T. unsalted butter
4 T. all-purpose flour
2 c. whole milk
1-1/2 c. shredded provolone cheese
1 tsp. kosher salt
1 tsp. ground black pepper
6 slices provolone cheese
fresh chopped parsley, for garnish
