INGREDIENTS
2 – 2 1/2 lbs chicken pieces such as legs, thighs and breasts
1 tablespoon butter
2 small turnips, cut to wedges
2 medium-sized carrots, cut to 1/2 – 1? chunks
1 large onion, cut to large wedges
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup sake
1 teaspoon red miso paste
1 cup apple cider
salt and white pepper to taste
