INGREDIENTS

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder
•
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
•
1/2 teaspoon salt
•
2 tablespoons shortening (I used only butter)
•
3 tablespoons butter, cold
•
1 cup buttermilk
•
1 1/4 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese (I used my mexican blend cause that's all I had and they were great!)

For the topping
•
3 tablespoons butter melted
•
1/4 teaspoon parsley (I used fresh Italian Parsley)
•
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
•
pinch of salt
