Chantilly Cake

INGREDIENTS
½ cup (120 ml) canola oil, or vegetable oil
½ cup (113 g) unsalted butter, room temperature
1 ½ cups (300 g) granulated sugar
4 large eggs, room temperature
1 tablespoon vanilla bean paste
3 cups (360 g) cake flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup (240 ml) buttermilk, room temperature
16 ounces (453 g) mascarpone cheese
16 ounces (453 g) cream cheese, softened
3 cups (360 g) confectioners’ sugar
2 cups (480 ml) heavy whipping cream
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2/3 cup (200 g) seedless strawberry jam
1 cup each fresh blueberries, raspberries and sliced strawberries, plus more for decorating, if desired
