peanut pudding dessert
This is one of Dad's favorite desserts. I found this recipe in a pamphlet at a rest area in Virginia on one of our many family trips.

Ingredients
- LAYER 1
- 2/3 cup peanuts, chopped
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- LAYER 2
- 1/2 cup peanut butter, creamy
- 1-8oz package cream cheese
- 3/4 cup confectioners' sugar
- 3 cups cool whip
- LAYER 3
- 1 package instant vanilla pudding(small)
- 1 package instant chocolate pudding(large)
- 3 cups milk
- 1/4 cup peanuts, chopped
How To Make peanut pudding dessert

Step 1Layer 1: Mix the flour and sugar together. Using a fork mix the butter into the flour mixture until crumbly, add the peanuts and mix. Press into a prepared 9"X 13" baking dish. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes, cool.

Step 2Layer 2: In a mixing bowl, add the peanut butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar and mix, add the cool whip, mix. Spread on cooled crust.

Step 3Layer 3: In a medium bowl, mix the pudding mixes together and then add the milk, stir for about a minute with a whisk. Spread on layer 2.

Step 4Layer 4: Spread a layer of cool whip on top of layer 3 and then sprinkle with more peanuts. Cover and chill until ready to serve.
