3 pounds potatoes, peeled and sliced OR

3 cans sliced potatoes
•
1 lb bacon, diced or ham
•
2 8oz cheese, grated
•
2 cans canned cream
•
1 medium red onion, sliced or
•
1 pkg white pearl onions
•
1 teaspoon salt
•
1/2 teaspoon pepper
•
2-3 garlic cloves, minced
•
Prep time: 20 minutes
•
Total time: 45 minutes
•

1. While you boil the potatoes, sautée the bacon and onions in a medium-size pan.
•
2. Slice the potatoes and pack them into your baking dish.

3. Next, add the sautéed bacon and onions and sprinkle some cheese on top.

4. In getting the desired consistency of the dish, the sauce is essential. In a saucepan, combine heavy cream and garlic and warm it up, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper and pour it over the potatoes.

5. Stick the dish in the oven at 350 F (175 C) for 45 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
