225g plain flour
110g very cold butter, cubed
Cold water
450g can golden syrup
90g fresh breadcrumbs
2 eggs, beaten
Zest and juice of 1 lemon
1 heaped tsp ground ginger
10 cardamom pods, seeds crushed and ground to a powder
200g rhubarb
4 tbsp caster sugar
