Ingredients: 1 cup sugar; 2 tablespoons water (Dorie uses 3 tablespoons); 1 tablespoon light corn syrup; 3/4 cup heavy cream, at room temperature; 1 tablespoon butter; 1 teaspoon vanilla (Dorie does not add vanilla)
