5 large apples (I chose Honeycrisp), peeled and diced

2/3cup brown sugar
•
1 tsp. lemon juice
•
2 ¼ cups Caramel Apple Cookie Mix (or sugar cookie if can’t find)
•
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
•
15 soft caramels (I used Kraft), wrapper removed, and cut in half
