Filling:

•
1 1/2 c finely chopped apple (Granny Smith preferred)
•
1 Tbls fresh lemon juice
•
1 cup caramel bits
•
1 Tbls milk
•
Caramel Icing:
•
1/2 cup butter
•
1 cup brown sugar
•
1/2 tsp salt
•
1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
•
2 tsp vanilla
•
1 1/3 cups powdered sugar
