deliciously healthy ranch dressing

This recipe is so much better than the ones bottled or made from a powdered mix. And it's so much healthier, too! This dressing is made without mayo, cutting the calories but not the taste. The fresh herbs are bright and forward - so good!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup lowfat buttermilk
  • 1 cup greek yogurt 2%
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, minced
  • 1 tablespoon flat leaf parsley, minced

How To Make deliciously healthy ranch dressing

  • Step 1
    Place all the ingredients in a bowl and whisk to combine. Refrigerate for a few hours, to let the flavors meld. Store covered in the fridge.
  • Step 2
    NOTE: you can just roughly chop the herbs and place everything in a food processor. Process till smooth. However, doing it this way will cause the herbs to tint the dressing a bit green. Still tastes great, though!
