Makes four slices. My dad used to call this "schnittas" A favorite of Jennifer's. Especially served with veggie bacon strips or as I call it- fake bacon! Jonathan really likes this too.

Ingredients
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla syrup
- 1/4 cup milk
- 4 slices bread
- to taste - margarine (optional)
- to taste - syrup (optional)
- to taste - powdered sugar (optional)
- - fresh fruit (optional)
How To Make french toast

Step 1Beat egg and vanilla in shallow dish. Stir in milk. Dip bread in egg mixture, turning to coat both sides evenly.

Step 2Cook bread slices on lightly greased nonstick griddle or skillet on medium heat until browned on both sides. Serve with butter, syrup, powdered sugar and or fresh fruit.
