5 cups Thinly sliced yellow onions
1 tbsp Cooking oil
2 tbsps Butter
1/2 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Salt
3 tbsps All-purpose flour
6 cups Beef Stock
1/2 cup Dry white wine
Salt and pepper to taste
12 ozs Grated Swiss cheese
4 ozs Grated parmesan cheese
1/2 Raw yellow onion
2 tbsps Cognac
6 Slices French bread (about 1" thick)
4 tbsps Olive oil for drizzling
