Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats, uncooked
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 - eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup raisins, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups maple-flavored syrup
- 1 tablespoon orange rind, grated

Step 1Combine first 6 ingredients in a medium bowl; stir well.

Step 2Combine eggs, milk, and butter; stir well. Add milk mixture to dry ingredients, stirring until blended. Stir in raisins.

Step 3Bake in pre-heated oiled waffle iron. Serve with warm Orange-Maple Sauce....directions next!

Step 4Combine the syrup and orange rind in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat; reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes.
