Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats, uncooked
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 - eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup raisins, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups maple-flavored syrup
  • 1 tablespoon orange rind, grated

How To Make oatmeal waffles with orange-maple sauce

  • Step 1
    Combine first 6 ingredients in a medium bowl; stir well.
  • Step 2
    Combine eggs, milk, and butter; stir well. Add milk mixture to dry ingredients, stirring until blended. Stir in raisins.
  • Step 3
    Bake in pre-heated oiled waffle iron. Serve with warm Orange-Maple Sauce....directions next!
  • Step 4
    Combine the syrup and orange rind in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat; reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes.
