    all-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1/2 c
    quick-cooking oats, uncooked
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 2
    eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 c
  • 1/4 c
    butter, melted
  • 1/4 c
    raisins, chopped
  • 1 1/2 c
    maple-flavored syrup
  • 1 Tbsp
    orange rind, grated

How to Make Oatmeal Waffles with Orange-Maple Sauce


  1. Combine first 6 ingredients in a medium bowl; stir well.
  2. Combine eggs, milk, and butter; stir well. Add milk mixture to dry ingredients, stirring until blended. Stir in raisins.
  3. Bake in pre-heated oiled waffle iron. Serve with warm Orange-Maple Sauce....directions next!
  4. Combine the syrup and orange rind in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat; reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes.
