Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup wheat germ
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
- 1 3/4 cups milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup fresh cranberries, chopped
- 3/4 cup nuts, chopped
- 3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
How To Make cranberry nut waffles

Step 1Stir together flour, wheat germ, baking powder, salt and sugar.

Step 2Combine egg yolks, milk, and oil. Add this mixture to the flour mixture and mix well. Gently fold in nuts and cranberries. Gently fold in egg whites.

Step 3This mix makes approximately 6 belgian waffles, 12 regular waffles or approx. 20 pancakes.

Step 4If you do not have fresh cranberries, you can use dried cranberries that have been soaked in hot water for 5 minutes and then drained.
