Ingredients

  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 large aa eggs
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom

How To Make swedish buttermilk pancakes

  • Step 1
    Beat eggs thoroughly.
  • Step 2
    Blend together 1/3 C buttermilk, vanilla. cardamom, and sugar. Add to eggs and blend.
  • Step 3
    Add 1/3 C flour and 1/3C buttermilk and blend until smooth.
  • Step 4
    Add another 1/3 C flour, 1/3 C buttermilk and the butter and blend.
  • Step 5
    Drop 1/4 Cup of batter and cook on hot flat surface.
  • Step 6
    Cook until golden brown, cooking and turning over 1 time to cook the other side.
