Ingredients

  • 1 c
    buttermilk
  • 2 large
    aa eggs
  • 2/3 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    white sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 1/4 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground cardamom

How to Make Swedish Buttermilk pancakes

Step-by-Step

  1. Beat eggs thoroughly.
  2. Blend together 1/3 C buttermilk, vanilla. cardamom, and sugar. Add to eggs and blend.
  3. Add 1/3 C flour and 1/3C buttermilk and blend until smooth.
  4. Add another 1/3 C flour, 1/3 C buttermilk and the butter and blend.
  5. Drop 1/4 Cup of batter and cook on hot flat surface.
  6. Cook until golden brown, cooking and turning over 1 time to cook the other side.
