Quick and Easy Halloween Pancakes

Deena Dooley

I have many leftover items from previous recipes that I may or may not use again: food coloring, sprinkles, etc. Here, I've combined a few leftovers in my cabinet which was a hit with the kids. They are quick, easy and sweet tasting.

How to Make Quick and Easy Halloween Pancakes

  1. Thoroughly mix water, Hungry Jack easy pack pancake mix, yellow and red food coloring. Let it sit for 3 min and stir one last time. Adjust the food coloring to how yellow, orange or red you want to make the batter.
  2. Ladle pancake mix on to flat griddle or frying pan. Shake sprinkles on top. Cook for 3-4 minutes on medium high and flip once bubbles have surfaced and bottom is firm.
  3. SERVE! They are sweet tasting - no syrup needed. Tip: If making them in a frying pan (one by one), set oven to warm and place each pancake on a lined cookie sheet (aluminum foil with non-stick cooking spray) in the oven while others are cooking. Any size pancake works fine (dollar to large).
