They smell like pumpkin pie in the oven! Created for my sister-in-law for a Fall breakfast treat.

Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 can brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon soda
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 can pumpkin, canned
- 1 cup milk
- 1 - egg
- 1/2 cup pecans, in pieces
- - canola oil
- - butter
- - syrup
- - whipped cream
How To Make pumpkin pecan pancakes

Step 1In small bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, soda, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg & salt.

Step 2Mix pumpkin, milk and egg together.

Step 3Blend dry ingredients into pumpkin mixture. Add pecans, reserving a few for topping.

Step 4Heat griddle to medium low and add canola oil. When hot, pour 1/4 cup of mixture on the griddle. Cook until bubbles appear on top and then turn over. Adjust heat if bubbles do not appear before burning or add a little water to the mixture to thin. Serve immediately with butter, syrup and whipped cream to taste with a sprinkle of pecans on top.
