Also can add fruit when mixing for even tastier pancakes.

Ingredients

  • 1 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    100% whole wheat flour
  • 3 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 1/4 c
    milk
  • 1
    egg
  • 3 Tbsp
    melted butter (unless cooking in butter)

How to Make Homemade Pancakes

Step-by-Step

  1. Pour all the dry ingredients into a medium-size bowl. Add the milk, egg and butter, if using. Mix well to combine. Pour ¼ cup of pancake batter onto the pan or griddle over medium heat. Wait until bubbles form to flip.
