I remember as a kid my parents making these for us on the weekends. We would at times either have them for Breakfast or after church either way they where good.

Ingredients

  • 2
    eggs
  • 2 c
    buttermilk (or substitute 2 c. water with 1/2 c. powdered buttermilk)
  • 1/4 c
    oil
  • 2 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    soda

How to Make Favorite Pancakes

Step-by-Step

  1. Beat eggs. Add Buttermilk and Oil.
  2. Stir together all dry ingredients and add to liquids.
  3. Stir with a whisk. Don't over mix or add dry ingredients until ready to cook for best results.
  4. Cook them on a skillet, turning them with a large spatula till done to your liking. We always used a large electric table top skillet, much faster.
